Vega began her career as an extra in her father’s play Señora Presidenta, in which she also starred and directed. At age 17, she first played Roberta in the Mexican drama series SOS: Sexo y otros Secretos on television. Vega rose to fame in Mexico after starring in two telenovelas “Alma de Hierro” and “Mar de amor” that aired in 2008-2009.
