Vivek Ramaswami was born on August 9, 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. He was born to his parents Vivek Ganapati and Geeta Ramaswami. His father worked for the General Electric Company and his mother is a geriatric psychiatrist. He has two younger brothers.
