Early life
Tony Finau was born on September 14, 1989 in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. He was born to parents Kelepi and Revena Finau. His father worked as a loader for Delta Airlines. He has a brother named Gipper who also plays golf but is not a professional golfer.
Tony decided that he wanted to become a golfer in the future after watching Tiger Woods win the 1997 Masters Tournament. He played golf with a mattress at home. Tony went on to play golf in high school. He attended West High School, where he led his team to their first golf championship.
