During the investigation, it was discovered that he had good contacts both in India and in Abu Dhabi. He is in contact with the Information Technology Secretary of the Government of Kerala, M.M. Shiva Shankar, and many other high-ranking officials.
Even the minister denied that he was not in contact with her, the government had to remove him from office.
He used diplomatic immunity to continue smuggling gold. He fabricated false documents from his previous job at the UAE consulate to gain diplomatic immunity.
A gold smuggler uses models and actresses to smuggle his gold and gains the support of a former professional from the UAE Consulate in Kerala. She has also been involved in numerous infringement cases prior to this case.
She was previously investigated by the criminal bureau for forgery while working for Air India Stats, where she made false accusations against an Indian ground handling officer, L.S. Sibhu.
