Early Life
Pete was born on June 6, 1980 in Forest Lake, Minnesota. He attended Forest Lake Area High School before attending Princeton University. In 2003 he earned a Bachelor of Arts there.
At Princeton, he was editor of the student publication The Princeton Tory. After several years of building his career, he also earned a master’s degree in public policy from the School of Public Administration. Harvard John F. Kennedy University.
