Early life

Nasser Al-Khelaifi was born on November 12, 1973 in Doha, Qatar. He didn’t share enough information about his past life and his parents. However, we learned that his father was a pearl fisherman.

For his studies he transferred to Qatar University, where he obtained a master’s degree in economics. Subsequently, he entered the University of Piraeus and received a master’s degree.

Nasser was previously a professional tennis player and was considered the second most successful member of a competitive tennis team, the Qatar Davis Cup team. He did two major tours while playing in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). However, he lost matches in the first round.
