Manoj Sashidhar began his career as a co-curator in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Later, he also worked as a detective and police commissioner in Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
He also served as an additional DGP in the Gujarat State Intelligence Bureau before being appointed by the Indian government as co-director of the Central Bureau of Investigation.
He was recently tasked with overseeing the mysterious suicide case of the late Sushant Singh Rajput of Bollywood as the central government entrusts the case to the CBI for investigation.
