Early life
Layton Greene was born on December 4, 1998 in East St. Louis, Missouri, USA. She was raised primarily by her biological mother and stepfather. She was 14 years old when her mother and stepfather separated. Green also has an older brother. At one point, she, her mother and her brother became homeless and survived by living outside of a motel.
Layton’s mother suffered from bipolar depression. She does not get along with her mother’s family, as she became estranged from her mother after eloping with a black man. Layton still doesn’t have strong ties to his mother’s family.
