Kathy Hochul was born on August 27, 1958 in Buffalo, New York, United States. She was born to her parents, John P. “Jack” Courtney and Patricia Ann “Pat” Courtney. Katy grew up in a difficult financial situation where she spent her early days in a trailer near a steel mill.
Regarding his education, he attended Syracuse University. Hochul became interested in politics during his studies. He graduated from Syracuse Scientific High School in 1980. He later attended Columbus Catholic University School of Law, where he received a law degree in 1984.
