Karen Reiter died of cancer on January 24, 2019 at the age of 62. In September of last year, she became seriously ill and even stopped working on Orange Is the New Black. From 2013 to 2014, Reuter worked as Kouki’s makeup artist, first for the series and then for 20 episodes of the show.
