John Eric Hexum was a famous American actor and model. He is best known for his starring role in Voyagers! as well as on the TV series CoverUp. Hexum also had a supporting role in Pat Trammell’s biopic The Bear.
However, Hexum died in an accident by shooting himself in the head with a blank shot. The incident took place on the set of the movie “The Cover”.

Hexum was born on November 5, 1957 and died on October 18, 1984 at just 26 years old. He was born and raised in Englewood, New Jersey. Hexum was of Norwegian origin. Hexum is American by nationality.
JonEric Hexum graduated from Tenafly High School. He then attended Case Western Reserve University. Here he entered to study biomedical engineering. After a while, he moved to Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. At the time, Hexum was working as a radio disc jockey. In 1978, he played for the Michigan State Spartans football team. Hexum was also seen in minor stage roles. A few days later, after graduating, Hexam moved to New York in 1980 because he wanted to pursue an acting career.
When Geksum worked as a cleaner. He met John Travolta’s manager, whose name was Bob Lemon. He was a member of the LeMond/Zette board of directors.
