Jessica Korda was born on February 27, 1993 in Florida, United States. Her parents are Peter Korda and Regina Reikhrtova. Both parents were professional tennis players. In fact, her father, Petr Korda, is a Grand Slam champion who won the Australian Open crown in 1998.

He has two siblings, brother Sebastián and sister Nelly Korda. His brother Sebastian has won the 2018 Austrian Open and his sister Nelly is currently number one in the official world golf ranking.

Jessica started playing golf at a young age. She participated in the US Youth Cup in Solheim in 2009. She also competed in the 2010 US Curtis Cup. Korda excelled as an amateur golfer where she won the 2010 South Atlantic Amateur and the 2008 and 2009 US Women’s Open. She finished runner-up in the US Amateur Women’s Open. USA 2010.

Korda graduated from the LPGA Tour Qualifying School in 2010. He was just 17 years old when he entered the LPGA Tour Qualifying School. In the last qualifying tournament, he took second place.
