Itaewon Class is a 2020 South Korean television series about the Itaewon region. This is the first Showbox production based on the webtoon of the same name. The series aired on JTBC in Korea from January 31 to March 21, 2020 and is available on Netflix worldwide. The series won the award for Best Drama Series at the 25th Asian Television Awards.

Itaewon Class Conspiracy Unmasked
On his first day of school, Park Seroyee (Park Seo Joon) hits his classmate Jang Geun Won (Kim Jong Rok) who was bullying another student. Bully is the son of CEO Jang Dae Hee (Yoo Jae Myung). Park Sae Roy’s father works at Jagga, a restaurant chain run by the stalker’s father.
The company’s CEO, Jang Dae Hee, orders Park Sae Roi to apologize to his son, but Park Sae Roi refuses. Due to Park Sae Roi’s rejection, he was expelled from school and his father lost his job. An accident occurs shortly after. Jang Geun Won’s former classmate Jang Geun Won has a fatal motorcycle accident in which Park Sae Royi beats him severely.
He is in custody due to severe beatings. Park Sae Royi decides to destroy Jagga and avenge Jang Dae Hee and his son Jang Geun Won by destroying the company. After SaeRoYi Park was released from prison, he opened a restaurant in Itaewon, Seoul. Jo ISO (Kim DaMi), known on social media, joins SaeRoYi Park ’ as a manager. She has romantic feelings for him.

JTBC’s “Itaewon Class” airs on the station on Fridays and Saturdays at 11 p.m. m., the time slot previously occupied by “Chocolate,” followed by “The World of the Married,” which will premiere on March 27, 2020. Based on Jo GwangJin Itaewon Class webcomic.
Itaewon Class is the first drama series produced by Showbox. The script reading took place in August 2019 at the JTBC headquarters in Sangam, Seoul, South Korea.
