Go to Settings > General > Keyboard and turn off autocorrect.

Can you remove words from predictive text input?
Select Android keyboard settings. Next, scroll down until you see a tab that says “Personal Dictionary” and select it. Select the language you use to send SMS, then find the word you want to change/delete in the autocorrect settings.
