Glen Davis was born on January 1, 1986 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States. He didn’t share enough information about his past life and his parents. To study, he entered the Louisiana State University Laboratory School.

Davis was eventually selected by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007 NBA draft, but was later traded to the Boston Celtics. Glen joined the Celtics Summer League team in 2007 and played his first NBA game for the Celtics in December 2007 against the Sacramento Kings professional basketball team.
