Production on the second season of the popular Netflix original comedy series The Comedy Show began in France in May. Since then, we’ve been eager to hear about the start of the season on our watch lists. We are even happier that the cast and crew have been captured on set in Paris.
The series premiered on Netflix in October 2020. It received mixed reviews from critics and viewers. This summer, Emily in Paris was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series.
While we wait to see if Emily wins an Emmy, don’t be surprised if season 2 of Emily in Paris arrives just in time for September’s biggest televised event. Now we know when the new episodes will come out.
Emily in Paris season 2 renewed or not (update)
The answer is: Emily in Paris Season 2 has been confirmed and will start in August 2021.
Warning: Emily in Paris season 2 is coming to Netflix in late 2021, but given the current coronavirus situation, we’re more likely to see it in 2022.
Filming for the second season of the series has been completed. As its star of the show revealed in an Instagram photo with Samuel Arnold, Ashley Park, and Charlie McDowell, it’s possible the release date could be earlier than originally planned.
We won’t be able to see Emily of Paris in Season 2 until late fall or early winter 2021. However, the streamer has already put together a deck for the finale. There seems to be no need to rush post-production and release new episodes in 2021. Collins noted that production took 67 days. Processing time after production can also be fast.
While anything is possible, it seems more likely that the second season of Emily in Paris will come out in early 2022. We could see the new season in January or February 2022 if we don’t get a chance to capture Emily’s Parisian adventure. We can’t wait to see Emily and Gabriel again.
