According to the Italian aeronautical agency ANSV (National Agency for Flight Safety), the plane crashed after five to eleven minutes of flight. It was reported to be a single-engine Pilatus PC12 capable of rising to sea level at 1,920 feet per minute, suggesting the accident occurred when the plane reached cruising altitude.
According to local sources, the plane crashed into a two-story commercial building on the outskirts of San Donato Milanese. The building was reportedly uninhabited. The article also claims that a black box was found at the scene and is currently being investigated by investigators.
