Since MTG can never do too much by the book, instead of the usual gathering dust mechanic found in other CCGs, we have MTG Arena wildcards instead. In other games, you can disassemble maps and then create new ones using dust or currency earned from disassembling another map.
What do you do with extra cards in the Magic The Gathering arena?
Because you can’t sell or trade your extra cards like you can in Paper Magic, any extra copies are useless in MTG Arena. This is where double protection comes into play.
Can you delete MTG Arena cards?
Magic Arena allows players to use up to four identical copies of a card in each of their constructed decks. Previously, when opening a fifth copy of a card, which is completely unnecessary since Magic Arena has no system for swapping or deleting fifth cards, the card was silently added to a resource bar.
Is there a way to disenchant cards in MTG Arena?
The 3rd copy of each card can be disenchanted for free, and the 1st and 2nd copies can also be disenchanted if you think that card won’t be useful in the future. In MTG Arena, I have to open 4 copies of a common before I can get to the vault, which is the Arenas equivalent of disenchanting
What happens if you get more than 4 copies in MTG Arena?
Once you have more than 4 copies of a card, you can long press to add 4 copies at once. You can always tap once to add or remove a single copy
Can you sell tickets at MTG Arena?
Once you have four copies of a Nolimit card, it becomes an infinite card. Although this feature would be incredibly useful, it is not possible to trade maps in MTG Arena. The ability to trade would require that there is no limit to the number of cards you can own

When you open packs in Arena, it’s inevitable that at some point you’ll open a card that you already have four copies of. These copies are not wasted, they are placed in the safe, which converts all of these cards into a “open the safe” percentage. This metric is your progress through the vault.
Can you have more than 4 draft copies?
If you draw more than four cards from a single card in a draft, you can use all copies of your deck
How does MTG Arena handle duplicates?
If you already own a playset (four copies) of a fully reprinted card, you’ll only get more copies of that card from store boosters if you already own playsets of all the other rares and mythic rares in that set (i.e. the same one we came with of a card if it’s forbidden in Standard).
