The sequel is rumored to continue in the Chadwick Boseman tradition and not recast the role of T’Challa. Fortunately, there are no plans to use a “digital twin” in the sequel.

Black Panther 2’s story has been explored
Now that we know for a fact that T’Challa won’t be making a comeback in Avengers 4, the focus of the sequel should change. All we officially know is that he will continue to explore Wakanda and beyond, so the first set photo gives little insight.
While narrative details for the sequel are yet to be revealed, it looks like our next trip to Wakanda will focus on a variety of characters as we continue to explore the “mythology” of Wakanda.
According to Production Weekly, Water Namor will appear in Wakanda Forever.
“Wakanda and Atlantis are secret civilizations with advanced technology and high military capabilities that have chosen to separate themselves from the rest of the world for their safety and, in a sense, out of fear,” details the little one.
In an interview with Vulture, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said he wanted the sequel to Avengers: Endgame to delve deeper into Wakanda’s backstory. If they want to make a prequel, this might be the way to go.

In December 2020, Disney Investor Day announced that the sequel would explore “all the interesting and different characters” from the original novel. However, in space, he loses contact with Thanos (who is preparing to face the earthly heroes). Editing the scripts for it can be difficult, it can take weeks or even months depending on the complexity.
